How can I tell if I have used enough Natures Miracle to get complete saturation? |

As a general rule, use the following guidelines: For a 1 x 1 area (2 sq. ft.), use 1 pint of Natures Miracle. For a 2 x 2 area (4 sq. ft.), use 1 quart of Natures Miracle: For a 3 x 3 area (9 sq. ft.), use 1 gallon of Natures Miracle. However, since carpet piles and padding can vary in depth and thickness, the best general rule to follow is to make sure that the top of your carpet is soaking wet. This will ensure deep saturation. |

Two weeks is a long drying time. Can I use a fan or heater to speed up that drying time? |

Answer: |
No. It is important to allow drying to occur naturally. Using a fan in another part of the room for ventilation is acceptable, but not directly on the treated area. Using any type of heater or heat source is never acceptable, because it causes the product to dry too quickly. |

I used another product first, then Natures Miracle, but it didnt work. Why? |

Chemicals in other products conflict with the enzymes in Natures Miracle, making it less effective. If a chemical product was used first, you must wait at least two weeks before using Natures Miracle. This allows the other product to dry and dissipate. After this time, using Natures Miracle will be effective. |

I used Natures Miracle on my carpet, but there is a brownish ring around the area I treated. What is this and how did it get there? How can I get rid of it? |

This is tannin, which comes from a chemical reaction between the acid in the urine and the carpet fibers. This occurs on certain carpet fibers in rare instances while the urine is drying. It has nothing to do with Natures Miracle. Try cleaning with a mild dishwashing detergent and water. If this doesnt eliminate the tannin, call us and we can suggest further treatment |

I can smell the urine odor in my carpet, but I cannot tell exactly where it is coming from. How can I find out exactly where to treat with Natures Miracle? |

Answer: |
You may have to get down on your hands and knees and sniff the carpet to try to locate the odor source. If that fails, buy the Natures Miracle Blacklite, which has a UV bulb specially designed to detect the protein in the urine. An iridescent yellow/purple color indicates a newer urine accident and iridescent white indicates an older accident. |
